Great stuff. Very impressive. I am on old Australian guy, been playing 40 years but arthritis got me. My first Banjo was a Tokai, weighs a ton and still sounds great. I note you don't anchor a right hand fourth or pinky finger to the head, which probably adds to your unique great sound. Best wishes mate.

When Bela Fleck or most bluegrass banjo players play, they will place their pinky finger on the picking hand onto the banjo head next to the wooden bridge. It acts like an anchor and gives you better control while picking. I'm impressed you can sound that good without doing it honestly, but maybe give that a try. Its uncomfortable at first but it gives you better control
Also try to make sure your fingerpicks hit the strings flat, not at an angle if that makes sense. You want to bend your thumb so the thumb pick is parallel to the strings. But there are no rules to the banjo, and you sound great doing what you're doing now! Just a couple suggestions of things you could try to improve your tone
